Marketing Plan
1st STEP
  • Install Sign
  • Company Tour
  • Report to the seller consensus of the company tour
  • Mail just listed cards to the neighborhood stating house for sale in area
  • Take pictures for the purpose of advertising, flyers, etc.
 
2nd STEP
  • Prepare first offering ad
  • Hold "Open House" for all participating MLS brokers
  • Call all qualified prospects
  • REPORT TO SELLER
 
3rd STEP
  • Check with the seller to consider public "Open House"
  • Prepare an "Open House" flyer
  • Prepare an "Open House" ad for Newsday
  • Arrange a schedule for Steve to assist in hosting the "Open House"
  • REPORT TO SELLER
 
4th STEP
  • Check on new listings and recent sales in the area
  • Call all the agents who have shown the home for feedback
  • Report to the seller on the agent consensus
  • Re-introduce your home weekly until it is sold.
 
5th STEP
  • If your home is not actively shown at this point, some changes may need to be made in the following areas:
    • Price reduction
    • Advertising
    • Availability of home to be shown
  • Call all agents and prospects
  • Check for new listings in area similar in price and style
  • REPORT TO SELLER
 
6th STEP
  • Before an offer is presented to homeowner, verify qualifications of the potential purchaser
  • Be available to represent the seller in negotiating price and terms of all offers being presented
  • After the offer becomes an accepted binder contact the attorneys for the preparation of contract
  • Assist in the processing of the mortgage
  • Follow up with mortgage lenders and attorneys frequently to make sure the process is going smoothly
  • Attend the closing
